Keto Cheese Garlic Rolls Summary
Another winner from my Keto 21 Day Meal Plans, these Keto Cheese Garlic rolls are GREAT served with any keto dish with too much sauce.
I have used these keto dinner rolls with everything from my favourite Keto Rogan Josh to soups.
I especially love this with wintery soups to help pad out a bowl and fill you up for longer! My favourite soups are Keto Zucchini Mushroom soup and Keto Cauliflower Soup with Bacon.
They are both rich, creamy, packed with veggies and perfect for a cold winter’s day.

Ingredients for Keto Cheese Garlic Rolls
You will need:
- Almond flour
- Baking powder
- Garlic paste
- Cheese
- Eggs
- Butter
- Cream cheese
Almond flour should be fine and blanched, but sometimes this is called Almond meal depending on the brand you use! As long as there’s no brown bits (i.e the almond skins) it will be good to go.
Substitutions and Ingredient tips
Keto Cheese Garlic Rolls is one of those simple recipes that you can really make your own. Once you’ve made the base recipe you can start to play around with it!
You can mix it up by:
- Changing the cheese or cheeses you use! A combination of mozzarella and parmesan is great, or even a little blue cheese or camembert will be gooey and delicious
- Adding your favourite spice combinations. You could try some mexican spices, a few indian spices like coriander and cumin, or a bit of paprika and sumac. It all depends what you’re serving this with but get creative!
- These little side breads are also great on their own, and you can up the protein by adding in some diced ham or bacon to them. A delicious breakfast to grab and go.

Tips for making Keto Cheese Garlic Rolls
The beauty of these rolls is that they are SIMPLE to make. We all need a simple Keto side dish like this in our repertoire.
Basically you microwave, mix and bake and you’re done!
- PREHEAT Preheat the oven to 200 C and grease a 12 cup muffin tray. Make sure it’s non-stick or use silicone liners, as the cheese can make them sticky!
- MICROWAVE INGREDIENTS In a small microwaveable bowl, add the butter and cream cheese. Microwave 30 seconds at a time until melted and whisk together, setting aside to cool. Don’t worry if it’s a bit lumpy.
- WHISK INGREDIENTS In a larger mixing bowl, add the almond flour and baking powder and whisk together, breaking any lumps.
- COMBINE Combine all remaining ingredients (saving about ¼ of the cheese for on top) in the large mixing bowl then stir through the cooled butter mixture until evenly combined.
- SPREAD Spread between the muffin tin evenly and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- BAKE Bake for 12 – 14 minutes until golden brown. Let cool until they can be handled and remove from the baking tray.

Storage tips
- Fridge: Using an air-tight container, you can store it in the fridge for a week.
- Freezer: Definitely this is a freezer-friendly keto muffin that could last for up to a month in the freezer.
